There is more to DJ entertainment than just setting up your equipment and playing music.  At Dynamite DJ, we take the time to meet with you as much as needed before your reception, to help plan out every detail of your reception.   Once all the decisions have been made, you can look forward to enjoying your reception while Dynamite DJ takes care of all the details.

We have lots of ideas and suggestions for you to choose from that will help you custom design your reception to fit your personality, taste, dreams and desires.  We ask a lot of questions and gather as much information as possible so we can fulfill your expectations.  Also, the information we obtain about your family and guests will help us better connect with them and play the music that helps make them feel apart of your reception.

Coordinator

Have you ever been to a reception were it seemed like nobody knew what to do?  At Dynamite DJ, we believe in coordinating each and every detail of your reception with the site staff, catering staff, photographer and videographer so that everything flows smoothly.  Caterers are pros at serving the meal and cake and the photographer and videographer have made getting the right shot an art from, but they typically have little entertainment experience to lead your reception.   Because your reception is an entertainment driven event, the most logical person to lead your reception is the entertainer. Our job as Emcee is to keep your reception moving along smoothly and problem free.  If there are small problems that come up, we will work with the reception site to handle them so you don't have to.  We will run things for you so you can enjoy your special day!

Is there an Announcer in the house?

At Dynamite DJ, we believe that our Master of Ceremonies skills are extremely vital to the success of your reception.  Have you ever been to a reception and missed the cake cutting because nobody announced it?  We are your voice for the day.  We take care of making sure your guests are well informed as to all events and details of your reception.  If there is an announcement to be made, we’ll make it.  Our job as Master of Ceremonies is to control the flow of your reception so there are no gaps and your guests are wondering what comes next.  We take care of everything from introducing the wedding party, the cutting of the cake, introducing those who are making toasts, to spotlighting your final dance of the night.  It’s our job to make sure everything flows smoothly so you can enjoy your special day. We are working for you from the time you enter the door till the time the last guest leaves!

If you thought that all there is to being a great DJ is playing good music, I hope we’ve changed your opinion.  But playing the right music at the right time is crucial to keeping the dance floor full and people happy.  We have the skill to take your requests and the requests of your guests and mixing them all together in a way that keeps the dance floor full.  Being able to read the crowd and play what they will dance to is important for a successful reception.

We carry a wide variety of music that will fit the needs of all your guests.  Our dancing request music list features the most popular selections such as: Classics from the 50’s through the 90’s, Polkas & Waltzes, Big Band / Swing, Motown & Soul, Dance, Disco, Reggae, Latin, Rock & Roll and Country.  We also have a service that provides us with the most current hits from the radio.  We carry a variety of group dances such as the Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide, Macarena, The Hokey Pokey, and the Chicken Dance including a full dressed Chicken!  Chances are we already have your favorite song, but if we don’t, we’ll make sure to get it.
